Terms of Service

The terms that apply to this website and to working with Sell The Vision.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of sellthevision.com (the "Site") and to the marketing services offered by SellTheVision LLC, doing business as Sell The Vision ("Sell The Vision," "we," "us"), a Connecticut business. By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to these Terms. If you become a client, your written proposal or agreement with us also applies, and it controls if anything in it differs from these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide marketing services for businesses, including website design and management, paid advertising management, search engine optimization, Google Business Profile management, social media and content production. The specific services, deliverables, fees, billing schedule and cancellation terms for any engagement are set out in writing before work begins.

2. No guaranteed results

Marketing results depend on many things outside our control, including search engines, advertising platforms, competitors, your market, your pricing and how quickly your business responds to leads. We work hard for measurable results, but we do not guarantee any specific ranking, number of leads, sales, followers or return on ad spend. Examples, figures and case studies on the Site describe past work and are not a promise of future results.

3. Advertising spend and third-party platforms

  1. Advertising budgets are paid by you directly to the advertising platform, such as Google or Meta, and are separate from our management fees unless your agreement says otherwise.
  2. Advertising accounts, websites and listings run on third-party platforms that set their own rules, approve or reject ads, change features and sometimes go down. We are not responsible for their decisions, policies or outages, but we will work with you to respond to them.

4. Your responsibilities

  1. You agree to give us accurate information about your business, and timely access, approvals and feedback so work can move forward.
  2. You confirm that you own or have permission to use the logos, photographs, videos, text and other materials you give us, and that the claims you ask us to publish about your business are true.
  3. You are responsible for your products, services, pricing and compliance with the laws and licensing rules that apply to your business.

5. Ownership

Ownership of websites, content, ad accounts and other work we create for you is set out in your written agreement. Our own tools, templates, processes and know-how remain ours.

6. Confidentiality and client privacy

We keep your business information confidential. We do not name clients, share their results or show their work publicly without their permission.

7. Messages from us

If you give us your phone number or email, we may call, text or email you about your enquiry. We will not add you to marketing messages unless you ask for them. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information and is part of these Terms.

9. Use of the Site

Please do not misuse the Site, submit false enquiries, or copy its content, designs or media for commercial use. The Site's text, designs, photographs, videos and logos belong to Sell The Vision or are used with permission. Links to other sites are provided for convenience, and those sites have their own terms.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." Information on it is general and is not a proposal or contract. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Liability for client engagements is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. If a concern comes up, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of the State of Connecticut.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
